Charges

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking, 10% is non-refundable. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid in full. Final payment shall be paid on delivery—cash or cheque payable to “High Societeas”. If any of the tea cloths or equipment is damaged or lost, High Societeas reserves the right to request full payment of the replacement cost. Customers shall pay the balance of any charges outstanding within 14 days of the invoice date.

 

Delivery

No extra charge within East Lothian, thereafter, 50p per mile extra.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation

A confirmed booking can only be cancelled when the company receives written notification of the cancellation. If we receive written notification of cancellation more than 7 days before the date of the event 90% of the deposit will be returned. If a confirmed booking is cancelled within 7 days of the event date, all the deposit is non-refundable.

 

Final numbers

You will be contacted  7 days prior to your event to ascertain final numbers. The final bill will be based on this number. At this time we would ask you to include a list of any special dietary requirements

The little extras

Included in the price for the High Societeas afternoon Tea inclusive menu.

  • Delivery in East Lothian.
  • All food, leaf tea, and High Societeas own table linen, crockery and silverware required for your High Society Tea.
  • Tables set with food arranged on cake stands and cake plates.
  • Return to clear and pick up dirty dishes and equipment, at a suitable time.
  • All you need to provide will be a suitable table, chairs and a kettle to make the tea!

Staffing costs and any additional Hire charges are not included.
